This 93-acre multi-purpose recreation area is the largest and most developed in the county. It provides picnicking, camping, hiking, hunting for rabbits and pheasants, and ﬁshing in Wolf Creek. Facilities are available for trailer camping (with electricity hook-ups), tent camping, playground equipment, a shelter house with electricity, water, picnic tables, grills, numerous trails that meander through wooded areas, a self-interpreting nature trail, and grassland/wetland areas. The Comet Trail, a trail connecting the park with the towns of Beaman, Conrad, and soon Gladbrook, runs through the park and includes a suspension bridge over Wolf Creek.
