Mission Statement
The Grundy County Development Alliance exists to serve as a local source of assistance for economic and community development in Grundy County. The organization is structured to provide professional assistance and information that will serve to improve the efforts of local governments, community development groups and individual businesses. GCDA is prepared to provide leadership to aid in the development of tourism, agriculture, business growth and identified community needs, including housing.

GCDA is investing in Grundy County by:

PROMOTING the Grundy County area to visitors and prospective new residents.

MARKETING our area and member businesses through our website,
tourism guides, brochures, and advertisements.

EDUCATING members with seminars and workshops on a variety of topics.

ATTENDING conferences, workshops, and meetings in order to stay
up-to-date on current events and programs.

INFORMING members of ongoing activities, events and opportunities through a newsletter.

RECOGNIZING new businesses and investments in Grundy County.

RESPONDING to new industry leads in coordination with the
communities and utility partners.

SUPPORTING local businesses by promoting shopping locally with the Looper organization.

ASSISTING with business plan development, financial packaging and grants for industrial, commercial and retail projects.

POSITIONING the area for success by addressing housing, transportation, educational and childcare issues.
