As you travel west on Hwy. 175 out of Grundy Center, take a look at the beautiful new block, "Garden Gazebo", that added much color to an
old dairy/cattle shed. 
This farm building has been in the Van Deest family since 1955 when John B. Van Deest purchased the farm.  The barn was originally used as half dairy/half cattle shed. 
The original materials used to build the structure is wood, but was later covered in the gray shingles seen currently.  "Garden Gazebo" was mounted with the help of Alliant Energy on July 17, 2008.
