The home of "Turkey Tracks" has been in the Thompson family for over
30 years. The barn was built in the early 1950's. Beth Thompson
originally wanted the barn quilt to be on the small old corncrib/garage, but
when Alliant Energy showed up to mount the block in July 2008, they quickly
realized the upper part of the building would not be large enough. So the
block now rests on the large white barn facing South.
