The Sheller Farm is located just east of the Grundy/ Hardin County line. The farm was purchased by Dan Sheller in 1990, and it is believed the corncrib was built sometime around 1920. The quilt block displayed here is called Snail's Trail, and was painted in bright colors at the Shellers' request. Paint for this quilt block was donated by Diamond Vogel. Sponsors for this quilt block include the Iowa Farm Business Association in Ames, Iowa, and SoftShell Computer Services in Eldora. |
