This corncrib, located 1
1/2 miles west of Grundy Center
and has been in the Ross family since January of 1992.
Joe grew up eight miles southwest of the farm on
Highway 14, and Ina grew up one mile north of the farm.
The actual date of the corncrib's construction is not
known, although there is a date (1939) visible on the
front of the structure. It is one of the largest quilt
blocks, 12'x12' when others are normally 8'x8'. The pattern
displayed here is called "Corn and Beans."
