The current owners, which have only lived at the location since August 2007, have now housed the quilt block "Jack in the Pulpit" on their barn. 

The barn, built in 1910, was originally used for general purpose, has horse stalls, chicken roost, and hay loft.  It is constructed out of wood, shake shingles previously, but now asphalt shingles. 

Alliant Energy mounted "Jack in the Pulpit" on July 21, 2008.
