Independence Day" now brightens up the corner of D25 and L Avenue North of Holland.  The building the block sits upon was purchased in the Fall of 2006 by current owner, Cara Hall.  She researched and found that the barn was built in 1892; was originally and all around barn - milking stations, wooden horse stalls and managers for the work horses.  Now the barn is remodeled into a horse farm with many stalls and storage.

This barn is also very unique as it was constructed out of oak with wooden pegs and square nails.  "Independence Day" was mounted with the help of Alliant Energy on July 21, 2008.
