The Dairy barn had been in the Nederhoff family for 50 plus years, and was purchased in September 2005 by the Cleveland family. The barn has been used for milking cows and hay storage. At some point, a portion was converted into a farrowing operation and then to an area to breed/raise dogs. Currently, the Cleveland's are converting the barn back to a cattle facility. The quilt block "Old Maid's Puzzle" was painted in bright, bold colors that are used in Amish quilts. In the future, they hope to have a retail business in the back building on the acreage. |
