Barn Quilt Info
|
LuVerne's Barn at the junction of Highways 175 and 14 sits at the perfect spot to display a quilt block to travelers. LuVerne's grandfather, L.G. Bakker, bought the farm in 1940. The barn has been used for cows and hay in the past, and is currently used for wagon storage. LuVerne also grows radishes and peas in a garden where the silo used to stand. The quilt pattern displayed here is known as "Eight-pointed Star." |
