Corncrib was built in 1950 and was used,
and is still used for grain storage. The farm was a private farm for
approximately 20 years. In the 1970's it became Meyers Seed.
Eventually, the farmstead returned to a private residence. Lisa &
Steve have remodeled one of the buildings into a quilting barn, where Lisa
quilts as a hobby. "Cat's Cradle" was mounted in July 2007 with the help of Alliant Energy. |
